Carlisle
The Cumbria county town and a city that is historic is Carlisle (locally /ˈkɑːrlaɪl/ Scottish Gaelic: Cathair Luail: from Cumbric: Caer Luel or /kɑːrˈlaɪl/). It is also the Carlisle City district's centre that is administrative in North West England, historically in Cumberland. Seven companies used Carlisle Citadel railway station at one time.
